Nazdar Introduces Economy 3600 UV Screen Process Colors For POP Vinyl Banner Printing

SHAWNEE, KS — Nazdar, the largest manufacturer of screen and digital printing inks in North America, has introduced a new set of UV process color screen inks specifically formulated for printing of indoor and short-term outdoor POP vinyl banners.

"The new Economy 3600 UV Screen Process Color inks were designed to provide POP printers with a low cost alternative that offers excellent performance for the price," stated Richard Bowles, Nazdar Vice President and General Manager. "Of course, we still consider 3900 inks the best choice for printing vinyl banners that require a high degree of flexibility, plasticizer migration resistance and long-term outdoor durability. But we also realize that there are some jobs when durability is not an issue and the cost of the ink can mean the difference between profit and no profit for our customers. Our goal was to create an ink that could meet that need without compromising on overall quality. We believe the Economy 3600 inks do just that."

Nazdar’s Economy 3600 UV Screen Process Colors are available in gallon containers and include standard/high density halftone colors only, matching whenever possible the standards for its PowerPrint® 1600, PowerPrint® Plus 1800, and PowerPrint® Banner 1900 halftones for hue, density, level and rheology/viscosity.

In tests conducted in the central United States, Economy 3600 UV Screen Process Colors – at full strength and properly cured – provided up to six months of outdoor durability when mounted vertically.
