Nazdar Consulting Hires Tony Quinn as Chromatix® Consultant

SHAWNEE, KS — Nazdar Consulting Services, a division of North America's largest manufacturer of screen and digital printing inks and chemicals, announces the addition of Tony Quinn to the Chromatix consulting team. Working from Nazdar's corporate headquarters in Shawnee, KS, Mr. Quinn will provide consulting services to both screen and digital Chromatix customers on a national level.

Chromatix is a multi-step analytical and consultative process that ensures color consistency and control for screen and digital printing applications. It is rapidly gaining acceptance by printers and their customers as a standard of printing quality and consistency.

"Tony Quinn's credentials make him a perfect fit for Nazdar Consulting's Chromatix team," said Chris Davis, Nazdar Vice President/Chief Information Officer and head of Nazdar Consulting Services. "Tony has taught color theory, color control, and general pre-press classes as well as numerous 4-color process classes for the SGIA/SPTF. He's been involved in the implementation of onsite process controls and procedures, and dealt with problems related to dot gain, density, and ICC profiling of digital devices. Chromatix certification requires an understanding of all those issues, and Tony's qualifications and experience will be a huge benefit to our Chromatix customers."

Prior to joining Nazdar Consulting Services, Mr. Quinn was employed by Coates Screen, was a technician, general manager and consultant for ReyHan PGF, and served nine years in the U.S. Air Force.
