Nazdar® Receives Sony® Green Partner Certification

SHAWNEE, KS - Nazdar®, a major manufacturer of screen and digital printing inks, announced it has met the rigorous standards to be named a Sony Green Partner. The certification is required for all business suppliers who provide components, devices, and materials to Sony.

Mike Fox, president of Nazdar, said, “We are pleased to be recognized by Sony as a Green Partner. Our certification highlights Nazdar’s commitment to quality products and environmental responsibility, and we commend Sony for their work to protect the environment.”

Sony established the Green Partner program in 2001 to encourage suppliers to produce components with minimal environmental impact. In 2002, Sony established a set of Management regulations for environment-related substances to be controlled when included in parts and materials. Sony auditors visited Nazdar corporate headquarters to verify each stage of ingredient procurement, certification, and manufacture.
