Primary Features & SubstratesFeatures
Substrates
Adhesion should always be tested as adhesion does depend upon age and manufacturer of substrate. Adhesion may be improved when the substrate is cleaned with a suitable solvent such as isopropanol. Ink HandlingAll personnel mixing and handling these products must wear gloves and eye protection. Clean up all spills immediately. If ink does come in contact with skin, wipe ink off with a clean, dry cloth (do not use solvent or flush solution). Wash the affected area with soap and water. Consult the Nazdar® 460 Series Material Safety Data Sheet for further instructions and warnings. Ink ChangeoverThoroughly clean your current ink system and jet assemblies with Nazdar® LWSPZS2FF Flushing Solution. Check, clean and replace, where necessary, mesh filters at the base of primary ink tanks. Shake ink thoroughly in bottle before adding to the ink reservoir. Recommended change over procedures available on request. |
Clean UpUse item number LWSPZS2SFF for the most effective cleanup of ink spills and cleaning of jet assemblies. Avoid contact with skin. Wear approved safety glasses and appropriate gloves when using Maintenance Solution. Consult MSDS for further safety precautions. Storage/Shelf LifeStorage and transportation of ink and cleaning solutions should be carried out between 5°- 25°C (41°- 77°F). Ink and cleaning solutions should always be kept away from heat, sparks, and flames. If stored or transported at a different temperature, the ink should be allowed to reach room temperature before calibration or printing. This may have an adverse effect on performance and will affect any warranties given by Nazdar®. Recommended shelf life of this product is 15 months from the date of manufacture when stored under preferred conditions. Ink PerformanceOutdoor DurabilityNazdar® 460 Series Inks are designed for maximum outdoor resistance to color fade and chemical attack caused by the combined effects of UV degradation and environmental pollution. Each color is formulated with durable long-term outdoor pigments. When Nazdar® 460 Series Inks are used with proper color management, color variance of the original print density will be minimal over a period of 24 months for vertical outdoor exposure. To ensure the color properties of Nazdar® LWS460 Series inks do not change during outdoor exposure, it is important to use proven substrates (flexible vinyls and pressure sensitive vinyls) that do not "yellow" or vary from their original white cast when exposed outdoors. All Nazdar® 460 Series Inks are formulated for maximum adhesion to an extensive range of unsupported and pressure sensitive vinyls. Always pretest for acceptable adhesion prior to production. |
