Ink Handling

All personnel mixing and handling these products must wear gloves and eye protection. Clean up spills immediately. If ink does come in contact with skin, wipe ink off with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth (do not use solvent or thinner). Wash the affected area with soap and water. Consult the Nazdar® AQ880 or AQ900 Series Material Safety Data Sheet for further instructions and warnings.

Ink Changeover

AQ880/900 Series inks are compatible with Epson® Ultrachrome K3® 'Vivid' inks. Currently only available in bulk therefore suitable refillable cartridge or bulk feed system would be required.

Clean Up

Use soap and water for cleanup of all ink spills. Consult MSDS for further safety precautions.

Storage/Shelf Life

Store ink and cleaning solutions at 77°F (25°C) or below. All water based products should be protected from freezing at all times. Ink and cleaning solutions should always be kept away from heat, sparks, and flames. If stored at a different temperature, the ink should be allowed to reach room temperature before calibration or printing. Recommended shelf life of this product is 15 months from the date of manufacture when stored under preferred conditions.

Ink Performance

Nazdar® AQ880 and AQ900 Series Inks are designed for maximum resistance to color fade and chemical attack caused by the combined effects of UV degradation and environmental pollution.

Fade Resistance is rated at Blue Wool 7-8 on all colours, translating to an indoor display life of up to 100 years. The media used will affect results.

To ensure Nazdar® AQ880/900 Series Ink density values do not change during indoor display it is important to mount any print behind glass, away from direct sunlight or other strong light sources. Framed prints should be sealed to protect against moisture, ozone, and other airborne contaminants. Un-framed prints should be protected wherever possible with a lacquer such as Nazdar PrintGuard. Prints should be properly dried before framing or before a protective lacquer is applied.
