Substrate recommendations are based on commonly available materials intended for the ink's specific market when the inks are processed according to this technical data. Printing

NSC91 is formulated to be press ready.

Roller Coating - NSC91 is most commonly applied by roller coater. Adjust the coater to apply a thin layer of primer.

Screen Printing - NSC91 is low in viscosity, however it can be applied by screen printing. Use a 420 tpi (165 tpm) screen mesh or higher. Add only enough primer to the screen to be able to print for 5-10 minutes. Add additional primer in small increments throughout the print run to maintain screen stability.

Pretest to determine optimum printing parameters for a particular set of primer, ink, substrate, press, and drying variables/conditions.

Drying Parameters

NSC91 dries by solvent evaporation and dries to the touch in less than a minute at room temperature.

General Information

Ink Handling

All personnel mixing and handling NSC91 must wear gloves and eye protection. Clean up spills immediately. If primer does come in contact with skin, wipe off with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth (do not use solvent or thinner). Wash the affected area with soap and water. Consult the applicable Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for further instructions and warnings.

NSC91 is offered in gallon containers. Contact your local Nazdar distributor for availability.
