APPLICATION AND USE

Substrates

Paper, Paperboard, and various films.

Anilox

An anilox with a volume of 6BCM should be used.

Viscosity

On average 18-25 sec., #3 Zahn @ 76ºF

Plates

This ink Series is compatible with most WB Flexo plates on the market.

Printing

This ink series is formulated to be press ready. Thoroughly mix the ink prior to printing.

Clean Up

Use NWC10 EZ Cleaner

Storage and Handling

WM Series Metallic Ink is formulated to be press ready. Thoroughly mix the ink prior to printing.

Maintain ink temperature at 65°-90°F (18°-32°C) for optimum print performance.

Proper personal protection equipment is required when handling this material. Please consult the Safety Data Sheet for details on proper handling of this material.

Ink taken from the press should not be returned to the original container; store separately to avoid contaminating unused ink.

Additives

Do not add any additives (ammonia, stabilizer or pH adjuster) to the ink without consulting with a Nazdar technical representative.

Use water to adjust viscosity if needed.

Performance Verification

After press/job set up is complete, inspect a portion of the printed web for all applicable and specified properties. These properties include but are not limited to cure, adhesion, mar and rub resistance, product resistance and gloss. These tests should be performed prior to beginning the full production run.
