The W330 Series Water-Based Flexo Ink is formulated to meet the needs of today's narrow web converter. APPLICATION AND USE

Substrates

Coated/uncoated paper and various print treated films.

Printing

This ink series is formulated to be press ready. Thoroughly mix the ink prior to printing. The pH and viscosity of the ink should be maintained during printing with the use of additives to adjust pH and viscosity, See the additive guide.

Clean Up

Use NWC10 EZ Cleaner.

Fade Resistance

Inks are formulated with standard and fade resistant (FR) pigments.

Storage and Handling

Thoroughly mix the ink prior to printing. Maintain ink temperature between 65°F - 90°F (18°C - 32°C) for optimum print and performance. Proper personal protection equipment is required when handling this material. Please consult SDS for details on proper handling of this material. Ink taken from the press should not be returned to the original container; store separately to avoid contaminating unused ink. Containers should be sealed tightly after use.

Performance Verification

After press/job set up is complete, inspect a portion of the printed web for all applicable and specified properties. These properties include but are not limited to: cure, adhesion, mar and rub resistance, product resistance, gloss, and coefficient of friction. These tests should be performed prior to beginning the full production run.

Process Colors

Process colors are formulated to print using an anilox volume of 1.0 -2.0 BCM.

Base Colors

Base colors are designed to print using anilox volume of 3.0 - 4.0 BCM. Base colors can be mixed together to achieve an unlimited number of strong vibrant colors.
