In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Nazdar has created a new sample print featuring the signature "pink ribbon." The pink ribbon was introduced in the 1990's and has since become a universal symbol of support for Breast Cancer Awareness, a cause that is internationally recognized each October.
The ribbon's sparkly pink color was created with the use of Nazdar NFX30 High-Sparkle Glitter UV Ink, which was screen printed as the first layer of the print. Nazdar 730 Series UV Ink was then inkjet-printed over the screen ink layer, creating negative space with white ink to make the ribbon shape. CMYK details were then inkjet printed with 730 Series as well, including informational text, the Nazdar logo, and black features on the print.
The new design joins Nazdar's Screen-Digital Prints Series, a set of sample prints that showcase the integration of Nazdar's high-quality inkjet inks and eye-catching special effects screen inks. While the "Pink Ribbon" print features high-sparkle glitter inks, the series will also feature metallic, translucent, pearlescent, and glow-in-the-dark effects.
Nazdar hopes that the "Pink Ribbon" print will help further Breast Cancer Awareness, and extends sympathies to all those affected by this dangerous disease.
