This year at the SGIA Expo, Nazdar Ink Technologies prepares to offer several exciting new features for visitors. Nazdar Consulting Services—the company's technical division—will be presenting new weathering technology, demonstrating Nazdar special effects inks, and providing color consultations.

Gamut-Based Image Predictor, Presented in Room N110

You've never seen anything like this! Bruce Ridge and Tim Quinn, Nazdar technical consultants, have developed revolutionary software that can actually predict what an image will look like as it ages. Weathering testing conventionally results in large spreadsheets of data, detailing the rates at which different colors of varying inks will fade over time. Inkjet Printing with Screen Printed Special Effects Inks at Booth #2441

A new kind of print artistry, we've combined the dazzling effects of our special effects screen inks with digital printing. We have upped the WOW factor! Printers who currently screen and inkjet print will be able to see the capabilities of Nazdar inks as consultants digitally print NASA-themed images onto screen-printed special effects ink. Printers with multiple inkjet machines often run into difficulties maintaining color consistency. At the show, Nazdar Consulting Services will be providing consultations to help alleviate this issue. Consultants will scan and analyze color charts produced by the printers' output devices, determining the best methods for achieving color consistency.
